Technical Administrator - Leatherhead

Job Title: Technical Administrator
Salary: £20,000

Location: Leatherhead, Surrey

Department: Operations

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Contract: permanent contract (with a 6 month probationary period)


Specific Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring compliance with the company’s own policies and standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry design, construction and safety standards as appropriate.
  • Ensuring that the requirements of the Health and Safety Policy are met.
  • Ensuring that the requirements of the Asset Management System are met.
  • Verification of network asset records and Contractor Completion Files.
  • Support with the close out of Technical and Safety Audit findings.
  • Liaison with upstream network owners.

Skills & Attributes required

  • Ideally have experience of the gas distribution business but an appropriate level of training will be provided in line with experience.
  • Experience producing Management Information and Reports.
  • Clarity, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • An innovative approach to problem solving. 
  • An ability to adopt a wider perspective than the immediate bounds of the job description.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
